Ohio Lemon Law - Ohio's Motor Vehicle Consumer Law

New vehicles including cars, trucks, motorcycles, light vehicles or heavy vehicles, is covered with Ohio's Lemon Law, as proscribed in the Ohio Revised Code sections 1345.71 - 1345.78. Whether the vehicle purchased or leased, consumer law covers all motor vehicles. Every motor vehicle without making the consumer - Kia, Ford, Chrysler, GM, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Lincoln, Saturn, Honda, Oldsmobile, Lexus, Land Rover, Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari or Maserati, enclosed.

The Ohio Revised Code spells out certain circumstances which will determine if your car is not regarded as a "Lemon". Your car can be considered a lemon under Ohio law, if it has been in the shop three times for the same problem or eight times for each problem, within 12 days of your purchase and / or less than 18,000 miles of use. If there are any problems that occur, you may have a claim under the law. So, watch out for the following conditions:
  • Kendaraan required to be sent for repair to the same problem three times, and not
  • Cars in the shop for repair more than 30 days total.
  • Kendaraan have been shopping at more than eight times for each disability, large or small
  • Disabled in the purchase of vehicles is very serious that can cause accidents or injury to other people and dealers are not in a position to improve in the first attempt.
If your vehicle is considered as a lemon, as defined by Ohio law, you will be entitled to exchange your vehicle for a new, or valuable than the vehicle up to the amount paid for the lemon. Alternatively, you can exchange the lemon for a full refund of your purchase price. In addition, consumers are also entitled to attorney's fees if necessary to maintain the one to handle the problem.

Always remember, auto manufacturers do not exist to free the vehicle. They may be trying to fight you anywhere. But if you stay, or you will be qualified solicitor, you may apply with the Ohio Lemon Law claim.
